The mission of the Firebaugh Computer Learning Center is to provide social, economic and educational advancement opportunities to residents of Firebaugh and the surrounding rural area through technology training and programs.  The FCLC opened its doors to the public in April 2002. Since then we have documented over 14,000 user sessions, with an average of 500 user sessions per month. We have 15 computers available with high speed Internet connections. FCLC is open Monday through Friday with weekly schedules posted at FCLC. Weekly classes are being scheduled for beginners learning how to use the computer, word processing, databases, how to surf the Internet and a class on genealogy for advanced students.  The buildings at the FCLC are  all ADA approved and a new partnership with the Westside Institute of Technology hopes to make available classes for A+ Certification.  Language software for English as a

Second Language Students is available.
